Degro International Agricultural Trade (Pty) Ltd (Degro International) is a sub-regional trader in maize, wheat, oilseeds, soybeans, and protein feeds. We operate in more than nine (9) countries in Southern Africa and are currently busy expanding our network even further.

Degro International was launched in June 2008 as a joint venture between Degro Commodities and Amanita Africa. Degro Commodities has more than ten years of experience in grain trading in the South African market, while Amanita has a strong presence as commodity trader in the rest of Africa. Degro International thus draws its strength from the combined synergies of these established equity holders operating in their respective niche markets.

Organisational Structure:

Both our management team and grain traders have a combined industry experience of more than 70 years. Apart from trading in the physical market, Degro International offers state of the art electronic trading in agricultural futures and options through Degro Futures (Pty) Ltd.
